"Electronic Arts Inc. is not going to have as strong of a holiday as they had hoped. That was the message the Redwood City, Calif., game company had during its latest earnings results, in which it forecast holiday sales and earnings below Wall Street expectations. Despite these challenges, EA said it is expecting strong sales, particularly from its latest racing game, "Need for Speed: Most Wanted," which was well received by reviewers as of its launch Tuesday.
